Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data LudoVideo uses when an authorised user connects a YouTube channel or Instagram account.
Controller and contact
LudoVideo is operated by Estrela Records SAS, 34 Rue Ratavoux, 04130 Volx, France. Privacy and data deletion requests may be sent to estrela.mgmt@gmail.com.
YouTube API Services and permissions
LudoVideo uses the YouTube Data API v3 and other YouTube API Services after a user authorises access through Google OAuth. It requests only the following permissions:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly: used to display and confirm the authorised channel's identifier, name and profile image, and to read the processing or visibility status of videos uploaded by LudoVideo;https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload: used to upload a user-approved video, thumbnail, title, description, audience declaration, altered or synthetic-content declaration, visibility and optional publication time to the selected channel.
LudoVideo does not request access to comments, subscriptions, watch history, analytics, financial data, contacts or email. It does not download video or audio from YouTube and does not modify or delete videos that were not created through the user-approved LudoVideo workflow.
Data processed
LudoVideo may process:
- the connected channel identifier, name and profile image;
- an encrypted OAuth refresh token and a short-lived access token handled temporarily on the server;
- publication metadata chosen by the user, including titles, descriptions, audience declarations, visibility and schedules;
- locally supplied music, artwork and rendered release assets;
- YouTube video identifiers, processing or visibility status, and technical error information needed to complete or retry an approved publication;
- a temporary immutable copy of the selected video or thumbnail while an upload is prepared or retried.
How data is used
Data is used solely to identify authorised destinations, prepare release assets, upload or schedule user-approved content, display publication status, maintain security and provide support.
LudoVideo does not sell Google, YouTube or Instagram user data. Authorised data is not used for advertising, credit scoring, unrelated audience profiling or training generalised AI or machine-learning models.
Sharing and Limited Use
Data is disclosed to Google and YouTube only to perform the connection, upload, thumbnail or status action requested by the user. Technical hosting and storage providers may process data solely on Estrela Records' instructions. LudoVideo does not share authorised Google or YouTube data for unrelated purposes.
LudoVideo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Cookies and local device storage
LudoVideo uses a short-lived, strictly necessary security cookie during the OAuth connection flow and essential session storage needed to protect authenticated application access. These technologies are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Google and YouTube information
Users should also review the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service. Users can review or revoke LudoVideo access at any time from Google Account permissions.
Storage and security
Application data is stored on controlled server infrastructure. OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted at rest, short-lived access tokens are handled only by the server, and neither is included in the public website or browser client. Access is restricted to application services and authorised operators that require it for security or support.
Retention and deletion
An OAuth authorisation is retained only while the user keeps the connection active. Completed YouTube drafts and publication history are automatically removed after 29 days. Other stored YouTube API data is refreshed or deleted before it becomes older than 30 days where required. Temporary upload copies are deleted after completion, cancellation or a terminal failure.
The “Revoke and delete” control revokes Google authorisation and removes associated local YouTube data. Users may also request deletion at any time. We complete a verified internal deletion request as soon as possible and no later than seven days, except where limited retention is required by law or an active security incident.
Deleting data from LudoVideo does not delete videos or other data already hosted by YouTube. Those remain under the user's control in YouTube Studio. Full instructions are available on the LudoVideo data deletion page.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of their personal data and may object to certain processing. They may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL or another competent supervisory authority.
